We might not be getting as good of players as I think we should get, but at least we're not having stuff like this happen anymore. There maybe rare instances, but Spurrier really recruits high quality kids and there's something to be said about that. I've been critical about recruiting recently mostly because of what happened at the end of Holtz' tenure. I really feel like our coaches are being honest with these kids, and I like that. The QB Brandon we got even said he wouldn't change his mind even if Spurrier left. I'd rather have good kids because in the long run that will win out.
