I don't think it's loud enough.
If it wasn't playing at all I'd opt for a moment of silence out of respect for our opponent and give them sufficient time to remove their players who'd fainted from fear during warm-ups off the battlefield. Then I'd leave it to the student-section to start the crazy-stuff, which the rest of us can just go along with, and forget about sitting down again until halftime.
'ANYBODY' who'd even think of changing that music/intro now that it's so entrenched would be an idiot - IMHO. (Except to turn it UP).
