Is this Don Shulas son? The one that coached at bama years ago?we would CURRENTLY rank 12th, based on another site's rankings. That's not bad, not bad at all. Between the "new blood" coming in and Mike Shula as our Offensive Coordinator (an upgrade over Loggains, imho), things are looking good for the 2025 season.
Yes. In his 3rd season there, he led them to a number 8 national ranking and was then given a contract extension for 6 years. For whatever reason, he was fired after his 4th season there. Reminds me of Lane Kiffin, who led Southern Cal to a Top 10 national ranking in his 2nd season there and then, for whatever reason, was fired in the middle of his 4th season there. Like Shula, Lane Kiffin is offensive-minded. Not a bad comparison if you ask me. Shula has been an Offensive Coordinator in the NFL. One year as OC in the NFL, he was named the "Offensive Coordinator of the Year", which is better than Dowell Loggains who had the reputation as the "worst Offensive Coordinator in the NFL".Is this Don Shulas son? I remember going down to the bama game for my yearly road trip a long time ago and we beat em pretty easily. I remember listening to Stabler on the radio afterwards and he was not very happy. I was extremely happy for a successful road trio. I had to admit though that was a beautiful campus. Police on horseback, huge beautiful campus. Great trip. Just wanted to check and see if that was shula. He might’ve got fired if that was the year we beat em at home.Yes. How would I know how much it cost? Must not be as much to replace as you think for On3 to give Carolina a pre-season number 7 ranking. Have you contacted On3 to tell them you disagree with that pre-season ranking? So how much does a 12 ranked class cost? How many times are they going to give for a 9-4 season ? Return on investment is hopefully a 10 win season and playoffs. Man that’s a lot to replace for that to take place.
Where does that put us in conference? Although good, that's what really matters.we would CURRENTLY rank 12th, based on another site's rankings. That's not bad, not bad at all. Very good question. Unfortunately, only 9th.Where does that put us in conference? Although good, that's what really matters.
Now if we could just finish 9th, we'd be dancing most years. That's really not much to ask imo but I do expect a bad year every so often to be thrown in.Very good question. Unfortunately, only 9th.
It's a tough conference. That's why it's imperative we have good "coaching", like we did this past season.
How stupid some Clemson fans are who are begging to join the SEC!!!
Wish we could grab a Sidney Rice type receiver to go along with Harbor and a Lattimore type running back our offense could be tough to stop if the o line comes together. Now if we could just finish 9th, we'd be dancing most years.
