They deleted one of my threads this morning, but this is a holiday weekend you know. I'm sure they have better things to do than babysit whiny fans 24/7.

that should not happen. Personal attacks such as this should be deleted and poster banned per the guidelines.

Any poster that calls out a player should be banned or at least suspended for a few months.

That is tough, because the dude has 5 hits in 77 ABs in his career which begs the question why he is even on the team.
Not mentioning any names. But he's a senior and everyone knew he would whiff which he did. Don't see nothing personal about that. When CH put him in to pinch hit I lost all hope.
I was hoping for Stokes vs Harrington only because CH said in previous post game interviews that just because a player had been here awhile did not mean he would necessarily get PT if he was not producing.
I hope we start seeing some younger players get there chance. I really believe Stokes will product given the chance. Also, applies to Destino, I know he is slumping badly, but if he really is a hitter, he will work out of it.

I have mixed feelings on this....you can talk about a player as an individual as long as you are saying good things but should be banned if you say something bad about the same individual player ? I would think some leeway should be given if it is performance wise. You start talking about individual players personal lives then it's a different thing all together. This is an opinion expressing board for Gamecock sports so I'll take the good with the bad from our fan base....other fan bases ? It's game over if they come here and talk trash about our players.
Calling out a player by name and stating that he's the worst you've ever seen in a Gamecock uniform is crossing the line.

I don't think it's crossing the line if it's honest. The way he has played for us makes me doubt he is good enough to play for ANY Division I team. Sorry if that is harsh, but the truth is not always nice and pretty.

Maybe...but it's just like everything else, it's just one man's opinion. It doesn't make it true in my eyes so it's a "no harm, no foul" kind of thing. I respect your opinion just like I respect his. Neither of you changed my mind, so both were kind of moot points. You know.....the kind that change nothing....and that is just my opinion. I wasn't talking about you Rooster...lol.

I don't think people are so much giving an opinion as they are factual information. Stats are stats and are hard to argue. His performance is subpar so why is it against the rules to acknowledge it on a message board intended to talk about the sport he plays? Just doesn't make sense to cry about everything you don't like posted on a message board, especially when it is based in fact.
