Is it fair to judge Frank by the tournament standard?

well said. People are so combative here when we disagree. I enjoy getting in the fray a bit and arguing different points of view... It is nice to see both sides of things when trying to make your mind up and it leads to a more fruitful, informative conversation when people are not just spraying identical ideas into an echo chamber.

But your points need to make sense.

When you're paying a coach $2.8 million a year, you expect some results.

It's a slap in the face to the average income fan shelling out big bucks for tickets not too.

If we don't want to win, hire a local coach for $150K a year and make tickets available to the public for $8.00 to $10.00 a game.

There is no reason why we cannot make the tournament more years than we dont. We have enough resources as an athletic department to where we should be a top 68 program year in and year out. The fact that we dont is a lack of vision by the man in charge. I put the blame of the underachieving men's programs squarely at Ray Tanners feet. I just dont see a do whatever it takes attitude and we are missing out on a generation of young fans to Clemson inside this state.

All of the Power 5 coaches are overpaid in the major sports as are many executives across the land. I know - market driven! Tired of hearing that.

What will the feeling here be if Darrin Horn's team makes the tournament?
I didn't know Horn was a head coach. He used to be an assistant at Texas.

First year at Northern Kentucky currently in 2nd place in the Horizon Conference, a conference that has been weakened by its teams moving elsewhere (Butler, for sure, and I think Xavier used to be in there?). Maybe they get the bid to the NCAA tourney.

Horn is back in his home area where he seems to do pretty good at the level of where he has coached around there. Was out of his league here.
