Looks like he has a good track record on offense.
First season as OC at Eastern Michigan, they were next to last in the nation in ppg with 13.7 ppg. Went up to 25.4 ppg in his second season and then 27.0 ppg in his third season.
At Fresno State, they were 24.2 ppg in his first season and 31.2 ppg in his second. Then dropped to 29.1 ppg the season after he left.
His one season at Indiana they had 30.1 ppg (26.4 ppg in the previous season).
He's 3-1 as head coach at Fresno State this season and putting up 33.0 ppg (29.1 ppg in the previous season).
He might be an interesting guy to look at for OC. I dunno.

I'd worry about him not having ties to the South for recruiting. I'm sure he is an up and comer.
Head coach at Fresno St., OC at Indiana last year. 70-4 record as HC, mostly in NAIA I think. Still, if an offense works, it works.
