I've been thinking about this more and more this year, after watching too many games when we looked like a sieve on the O-line:
At least since my time on GCC central', and with a few very good years at the height of the Spurrier era, it seems like we have the same issues over an over - why is our O-line underperforming? We've had half a dozen or so coaches, so they can't ALL be that bad, can they? Because that's the first rallying cry that goers up - the coaches suck! Fire the coaches!
If it's not that, then we must be missing on evaluations at an incredible rate. I watch teams from Brigham Young to Western Kentucky to smaller schools that manage to get push and move as a unit, why does it seem like we so rarely have that kind of single-minded drive in our lines?
Not sure what the answer is, but we really need to step it up in that regard, or having a premier triggerman will mean a little less.
