LETS RETIRE TWO NUMBERS

Tiffaney Mitchell's and Aleighsha Welch's. These young ladies are great athletes, great role models and two of the greatest basketball players to ever wear the Garnet and Black.

Uhhh, Dawn Staley is still a young woman. She will likely be at USC for a good number of years, yet. Maybe we should wait a little while to see what she puts on the Arena floor next year, and the year after that . . . ., etc.

It was meant to be after graduation. No matter who follows, even tho' they may be better, at this time in the history of women's hoops and with their stellar examples on and off the court thy are deserving of the honor in my opinion.

I think there is a USC policy for a set number of years after graduation before a jersey can be retired.

What's the fascination with retiring numbers? I really don't understand. as already mentioned just retire the jersey. Numbers are finite.
