They go there because they win national championships and have exposure to go pro.If the players like different rotations so much, then why do all the best players go to the schools that don’t have different rotations?

They who?Have you noticed the way they dress? I don’t think their tastes should represent an entire university and decades of alumni.
In the baseball instance, they see our interlocking SC and know who it is, not necessarily pin stripes. For special occasions. Not weekly like we do. But the majority of the time they wear red jerseys and silver britches at home. On the road it's white with silver britches.
And no one is saying we are Alabama. Just putting to bed the, albeit weak, argument that one way to get star recruits is to allow them to pick the unis each week. They are also some of the same ones commenting how nice it is that Auburn, PSU, FSU, Bama, etc have classic unis that everyone instantly recognizes.
Why not make our uniform one of our traditions, like silver britches at UGa, the classic Bama crimson uniform, the classic Auburn uniform? You see those unis and instantly you know who it is. We came close to that with Gameday Garnet. And you know what...we were winning then. The guys didn't care about picking the unis each week.
Kinda like with Baseball. People see our Garnet Pins with script Carolina across the chest and they know it's us. It's our thing.
This 1000 likesI want to make a change to our home game uniforms on a hot and humid days. Wear white jerseys. We done it the past years about 70 years ago or so.
Why give an edge to visitors when it's hot and humid outside. Now, with that said, we used to wear mesh garnet jerseys and something that could breath better. I'm all for going back to this look. Helmet and all.
Of course not. Generally speaking. All of them?

I do not ever recall winning a blackout game. Hope we never have another one. It screams inferiority and desperation. You would deny the crazed fans who say let's have a black out and go on to lose by 30.

2016 Tennessee was a win. 2018 Tennessee was a win. There are some big losses in blackouts that stick out, but that 2016 win over Tennessee was especially huge at the time. They were ranked with a real shot to win the east. That game really was the end of Butch Jones' tenure at UT and gave Carolina fans real (misplaced) hope for the Muschamp era.I do not ever recall winning a blackout game. Older people were once younger people and remember what that's like. Younger people have no idea what they will learn during their life, they think they already know everything. As a teen I thought my parents just didn't understand what we were thinking and going through. It's kind of funny that the older I got the smarter my parents became. There's a lot to learn from one's elders and the smarter youngsters take advantage of the advice and wisdom that can only come from those that have lived it already. The others just say "Ok Boomer!" There's still hope for them but they will have to learn it the hard way.
And older people often paint younger people with a broad brush just like the younger ones do about the older ones. Every generation tends to think the following generation is going to be the end of society. The fact is, the world changes and people change with it.Older people were once younger people and remember what that's like. Personally I like our colors.Personally would like to see a deep silver metallic tone incorporated. It would go nicely with white, black or garnet.
Personally I like our colors.
As someone who has tried both strategies, the young people never agree and the simplest thing is avoid conflict by letting the coaches choose the uniform. And older people often paint younger people with a broad brush just like the younger ones do about the older ones. I for one don't see the harm in letting the players have a say in what the uniforms that they wear will look like. It helps get buy-in can give the team a sense of ownership.
That said, at this point I really don't care anymore. Just win, dammit.
