Cal should stop loading and unloading with the one and done. I am glad TEAMS with upperclassmen are winning. I do not like Calipari, Petino, Roy Williams or Coach K with all the one and domes ruining CBB, but only Cal is crying. Way to go Gamecocks taking down a blue blood. Clemson? Oh well....no news here.
A Kentucky fan - a native of that state - and his daughter, who now live in Aiken, sat next to me last night. He disdains the one-and-done practice based on never getting to form attachments to the players. I was glad to see that he recognized this. He left a little early.

Calipari loves the one and done. Said years ago his main objective was not to win titles but to get players ready for the pros. I guess the ones that don't make it are failures. And his language on the bench is loud, obscene and vulgar. Can't stand him. Self-worship just like Pitino.
Publically his compliments were very nice and complimentary. History says the guy is unethical as hell. Got UMASS and Memphis in trouble and hauled ass from each program.

Everyone has their opinion on coach Cal - I'm usually somewhere riding the fence. Look up the story of Dajuan Wagner as to why coach Cal is all about getting these guys to the pros. It may change your mind (or it may not).
Interesting how the media thinks UK should win every game by just showing up. Too few comments on Silva and the team that actually played hard and won.
I fully expected him to do what was necessary to get ejected. Kinda feel respect kept him in the game.
Davidson was great. I absolutely love the NCAAtourney when the mid-majors have 4 or 5 upperclassmen on the floor, and play real basketball and win.

Brooks is 8th leading scorer and did not begin to start until SoCon play began. At that point Mike Young made decision to go 4 guards to matchup better with the much smaller SoCon teams. 6'11" Pegram now comes off the bench. Brooks minutes even with starting last 8 games are down significantly from last year.
Wofford grad and a minister. Mike Young was a member of the church I served when I was in Spartanburg. He is a great guy with a wonderful Family. When they needed an extra gym to practice (prior to Richardson arena) they would practice at the church which is about a .5 mile from campus. He was always kind enough to let me sit in for those practices. Am secretly hoping Zion commits to Wofford
