Mlodzinski gets in trouble again, but works his way past an overturned double play to dodge any damage. It's still 3-3, Gamecocks coming up in B4
jacob Olson double and Brady Allen walk go to waste after Allen is gunned down at second trying to advance on a wild pitch Gamecocks and Liberty remains tied at 3 after 4 innings.
Carmen Mlodzinski's day is done after 4 1/3 innings. He's responsible for a runner on first, gave up six hits, three walks, three strikeouts, one HBP. Ridge Chapman in, 3-3
Warren Nolan has not got the baseball scores up yet. D1 baseball was a great place to get the scores but since last year they charge for that. I’ve been on Warren Nolan’s website ever since. Crazy to think in 2019 we still have to search everywhere for college baseball scores.
Chris Cullen doubles to lead off B5, and Andrew Eyster skies one that drops in between three Liberty players, scoring Cullen. Gamecocks back ahead, 4-3
Ridge Chapman had a man on third with one out, but he recovers nicely with a strikeout and flyout to preserve South Carolina's 4-3 lead over Liberty heading to B6
Three times today, twice in one inning, the Gamecocks have been tagged out on the basepaths. USC still leads 4-3 after six innings
Josiah Sightler robs Liberty of extra bases with a great stop down the first base line, and Hayden Lehman just got Cam Locklear to fall over swinging in T7
Same guy that has called our basehballh games for years. I agree that woosh at the end of some words seems more pronounced this year. Maybe he just needs to move the mic away from his mouth a bit.
First game adjustments.
Hope this isn’t a sign of things to come - Cullen having an awful defensive day behind the plate - hasn’t thrown anyone out and is solely responsible for that last run to tie it - ball 2 feet in front of the plate and he cant field it to throw runner out at 3rd - awful day defensively
HOME RUN TJ Hopkins puts the Gamecocks back ahead in B8 with an absolute bomb to straight-away center. USC leads Liberty 5-4
