Hello all and welcome into today's rubber match with the Gamecocks taking on Liberty at 1:30 p.m. today. Teams split the first two games of the series with South Carolina drubbing them yesterday to the tune of 13-7.
Today Reid Morgan gets the ball against RHP Noah Skirrow (4-3, 4.57 ERA last season) for Liberty. Morgan's done really well in the spring and has vaulted himself to that Sunday starer role. He's experienced and done well pounding the zone.
Teams didn't take BP on the field today. Believe they took it in the cages. Gamecocks setting up to take in-and-out now on the field.
There's TV today on SECN Plus, so you guys won't be mad at me or the university today. As usual, full updates will be in the SECOND POST with other half-inning work going on throughout the thread.
