Hello all and welcome to the first Sunday matinee from Colonial Life Arena this season.
Collyn Taylor coming to you live from the media section as the Gamecocks are warming up on the court now. This is the final of two exhibitions before the regular season starts Nov. 10 (Friday) at Wofford.
The first was a blowout win over Erskine but now there will be more of a test today against Virginia Tech.
Today's also for Hoops for Hurricane Relief, so the proceeds from this game will go to help vicitms of the major hurricanes that devastated Houston, Puerto Rico and Florida.
It should be a really, really good day to help out some people in need and watch some basketball. Tickets are general admission and are $10. If you can't make it but would like to donate, the link is here.
The team will also be receiving the Final Four rings, so if you're coming get here early.
For those out-of-towners and people are going to watch the game online, the game can be found on SEC Network+ and commercial free on 107.5 FM.
