Updates coming in hot here starting around 12:30 p.m. Updates will be in this post so all you have to do is refresh it.

--Has a lot of respect for LSU after working there and Ed Oregeron is doing a great job.

--Offensively they're very explosive and the Tigers make you defend the entire field. They do some different things to change tempo and rotate players. Think Bo Pelini is one of the best defensive minds he's been around. They have two shutdown corners.

--Asked about the three quarterbacks, said they're familiar with all three. All are pretty similar in terms of arm strength, athleticism and ability to create in the run game. They are going to have to adjust to what they're doing. They'll game plan for all three this week. They're preparing just in case two quarterbacks play as well.

--Mike Bobo is someone that will make good adjustments in the run game. He's willing to run the ball on any down. Said he's good about sticking with the run and making good adjustments.

--Muschamp meets with the leadership group before practice on Tuesdays. They talked this morning and the leadership group is doing "the best job since I've been here" about leading, carrying the message and setting the expectation. Been very pleased with the team leadership during a tough offseason.

"It all goes back to preparation...This team understands that."

--Asked about avoiding a let down similar to Georgia last year, said this team has gotten better each week and last year that didn't happen. Said they didn't always practice the right way last year and lost confidence offensively.

Said he's seen a lot of leadership from this year's team and time will tell if they can maintain things.

--He's reiterated how pleased he's been with preparation and said team's practiced really well this season, even at 0-2.

--Asked about Adam Prentice, said he's very dependable and only missed one block in about 30 opportunities. He's "brought a lot to our football team." Said he sets a good example.

--He "would be shocked" if any one in the locker room is looking at LSU as a 1-2 team and not as a really good squad that's defending national champs.

--Jaycee Horn played well, and the Gamecock secondary did a good job against Auburn. Said they do need to be better in the pass rush keeping quarterbacks in the pocket than they were against Bo Nix.

--Asked again about Adam Prentice and said he's a very bright player.

--On the receivers, said more guys have to step up. Legette and Vann have done some nice things. Joyner's also coming along. Ger-Cari Caldwell is going to get more opportunities this week. Said with young guys, practices can be so up and down and they have bad practice in a week that can affect snap counts.

--Muschamp and Scott Linehan were on the same staff together in the NFL. Said he's seen a little bit of his signature on the offense a little. Steve Ensminger was also a coach at Georgia when Muschamp was a player.

--Asked about adding more analysts, said they started with three on each side of the ball and are down to one in each phase—offense, defense, special teams—but he's very comfortable with the work output. Said if you have too many people giving ideas that could bog things down with players.

Said with more there could be more "dead time." They've hired more people in recruiting.

--Asked about building a defensive game plan, they always talk about which guys can beat them first. That could be quarterback, a feature back, a receiver, etc. Said they look at "major issues" first and which guys present issues whether that's a guard, tackle or something else that could prompt changes or wrinkles.

Said he wants to keep some of the wrinkles inside the scheme so players can still play fast. It can be a little different than what they're used to but it's still something similar to what they do in the scheme.

--Said LSU is incredibly difficult to play there, especially at night. It's going to be a "different sort of atmosphere" because there are less fans. Still expects a loud crowd even with fewer people there.

--Arik Gilbert is a really good player and is a good blocking tight end for a freshman. Said they only had tight ends used against them against Florida (Kyle Pitts) and they did a better job against him in the second half.

--Muschamp not sure on if they'll allow guys to go home during the bye week. Said they want to have a leadership meeting to talk about an outline of what guys can and can't do next week.

--Muschamp said they're emphasizing turnovers "every single day." Said the players know how important it is. Said some guys have a knack for it

--Asked about Jaz Turnetine, said they loved his ability to move in his lower body. Said they liked his ability to really move for a guy his size. His family was great and his coach really hyped him up. He just needed a chance and they were fortunate to get him because he's a guy who fits the program well.

--No update on Jalen Brooks.

--Mo Kaba getting here early was helpful to get into the playbook but him rehabbing his ACL didn't really allow him to do a lot of on-field stuff. He's going to "be a really good player."
