Looks like Muschamp is gone with a loss to Clemson.

Do you honestly think we have a heart beat after getting whooped by Tennessee, App State, and Texas A&M? It ain't looking good
If SC can start off hot, I think they could keep it close for most of the game. But in the end the talent difference will be evident. If CU gets an early jump, it will get nasty very quickly.

In a way, you have to think about the greater good. If you're caught in a bear trap, is it better that just sit there and die, or cut your foot off so you can escape and live?

Say we ball out and do the impossible and beat Clemson? It doesn't do anything to help us this season as we are already out of bowl contention. It would most certainly save Champ's job, which most would agree is not in the long-term best interest of the program. The best it would do is give us pride in keeping Clemson out of the playoffs. As much I don't want to see them in the playoffs, I'd rather do what is necessary for our long-term success.
can't agree with this one. i feel like you tried to lay out a reasonable argument and it may be seen as such by some, but i want to beat clemson, every time and anytime.

not most people...most loud people...

im curious about a couple of things...how many of you muschamp haters hated it the day he was hired? yes this has been a completely wasted season, yes the coaching staff has looked pretty pathetic playing hurt players, inexperienced players because of hurt players, a true freshman qb and a young o-line...yes, champ has had offenses look bad before so it is easy to say that its all coaching...but, for one muschamp will be back next year and the injuries hurt this team way more than yall wanna acknowledge...i get it, yall want him impeached so to speak, yall wanna be 'progressive' ... i just believe that muschamp is far from stupid,he knows football and what its gonna take to win,way more than any of yall...you have to remember that we only see the outside of the house and it needs a coat of paint and some new windows, but whats the inside like? not a single one of us know that...most on here didnt like bentley but we woulda been way better off if he and everyone else had stayed healthy...but those things happen as bama has lost any chance of winning a title with losing just one player.. yes it has been sickening to watch this year and it is easy to think lets just clean house and hire another coach and we will be hunky dory next year...i wish it could be that easy...anyway, champ will be back next year and he better have some offense or he probably wont see another one here. and no matter who is coaching them, i will support em...and i hate losing with a passion but i also am smart enough to know that whining about stuff that i know less about than they do aint gonna accomplish a dang thing...matter of fact if anything, it hurts the program you so desperately wanna see beating clemson again
