Yea we know . Gregg Marshall would be 19-0 with this team.
His record would be better than Martin's and at least have more than one road win in conference play. Remember when you said Gregg wouldn't do anything at Wichita State and he plays in a crappy league? Yeah, that's a great reminder and quote of yours.
Here is his tough schedule at WS. No wonder he can puff up 20 wins every year .

1 Newman
2 Utah
3 St Louis
4 Detroit
5 Loyola Marymount
6 Hawaii
7 George Washington
8 Drake
9 Illinois St
10 Loyola
11 Southern Illinois
12 Evansville
13 Missouri St
14 Illinois St
15 Indiana St

Well last year he put up 35 wins, and swept every National Coach of the Year award. It appears that no one in America that has anything to do with college basketball agrees with you.

If anyone in the previous AD's office or FM himself felt like the first three years, at least, were truly a lost cause, he should have signed an 8 or 10 year contract, not 6.

He's not getting any closer. Unless PJ Dozier comes in and saves him, he's not getting a 5th year.

Maybe. We would be ranked. Gregg Marshall has just as many SEC victories this year as FM does. He is 19-2 and is ranked 12th in the country after replacing nearly his entire team with 2 star players.

GM has built two programns from the ground up. You preach to give Martin time because he inherited a bad situation. GM inherited a team with only 4 players and I rmeber one of his big recruits dying. Yet he rebuilt WSU in three years.

GM is 384 - 156 overall 71%
196 - 66 in CONFERENCE 75% (He is even better against similar i.e. conference competition)
7 time Conference coach of the year
2 time National coach of the year
8 time regular season conference champion
8 time Conference tournament champion
1 CBI
2 NITs (1 championship)
10 NCAAs (2 more than we have in our History)
11 twenty win seasons (15 in our history)
2 thirty win season (we have zero)
a 35 win season (our best is 25, more than 40 years ago)
a number 1 NATIONAL Seed
1 FINAL FOUR Appearance at Wichita St.
6-10 in the NCAA tournament at WINTHRP and WSU (which is 2 more NCAA wins than we have in OUR history
He built TWO Programs from the ground up

FM is 155-100 (60%
60-65 (48%) in Conference competition (i.e. he does much worse against similar competition)
1 time Conference coach of the year
0 time National coach of the year
0 time regular season conference champion
0 time Conference tournament champion
0 CBI
1 NIT
4 NCAAs
5 twenty win seasons
0 thirty win seasons
a 29 win season
1 elite eight
6-4 in NCAA tournament
Built zero programs (hopefully one will be soon)

You forgot to mention he has as many SEC wins as FM with 6 less tries.
