I have been to many sporting events that were "sold out" and there are always empty seats. People can't make it in for whatever reason or the secondary ticket market doesn't sell well. We all understand this reality. However, tonight there were upper level sections that were nearly half empty. We were in a lower level section and there were plenty of seats available around us. I was a bit surprised in how many no-shows we had tonight, especially considering the old timers in the house.
Don't get me wrong, the CLA was rocking at times, it was a good atmosphere. However it would have been nice to see what a closer to capacity house could do, perhaps Kentucky will do the trick.
