He said in his previous stint here, he went out and played golf with some of the other assistants. Coach Beamer said he played very well - better than usual - and ended up beating the other assistants. They went back and told Spurrier about that. Then, Coach Spurrier tagged Beamer to play in his group - the A group - on a subsequent golf outing. Beamer said he played poorly on the first two holes, and by the 3rd tee-box, Spurrier kicked him out of his foursome, and told him he needed to be with the "F-troop" (Beamer making a hand-motion to say 'to-the-back'). 😂 🤣 Great Spurrier story!
