And LSU giving the gators all they want. Tied at 34 with less than 3 minutes to go. And the fog is so bad the announcers can't see it from the booth, I think they said.
And the dumb s*** award goes to #3 from UF. If I was his coach he would run the stadium steps until every step had a name and was memorized. What a stupid a**.

For sure. Had LSU stopped with over 2 minutes to play and the idiot throws a shoe. Gave them new life and they capitalized on it. Too funny. Sounds like something that would happen to us. Florida lost to L eh shoe.
Wow. The gators stopped LSU on 3rd to force a punt with 1:30 in a tie game, and the Florida player throws a shoe from the LSU player 20 yards down field. 3 flags land at his feet. LSU goes on to kick a 57yd FG to go ahead, and Trask moves UF down the field in 23 seconds for the UF kicker to miss. All with fog so dense that every play was shown from the over-the-field camera. Wow indeed.
I've been watching football for more than 60 years. That was the stupidest penalty I have ever seen, hands down, and especially weighed against what it potentially cost. Terrible lapse but typical of the selfish, thoughtless play that is so often displayed in football today. This brought down an entire football nation.

What annoyed me, I know the game is in a do or die moment, but the player wasn’t removed from the game by the UF coaches, none of the coaches said anything to him that we saw and I’m sure the cameras would have shown it. He should have been taken out for at least one play and gotten his ass chewed out.
Serves Dan Mullen right. He’s acted entitled all year. He acted like a jilted girl talking to Todd McShay at the half.
That kid has got to feel like dirt right now, as he should.
Therein lies the difference between a condoner like Mullen and a boss man like Saban.
That mistake is right up there with the idiots a few years ago who tried to look cool by dropping the ball as they cross the goal line but ended up doing it too soon.

As a Georgia fan, I find it to be a thing of beauty.
I do myself, but it certainly denuded the SEC Championship game of any real drama. That kid made sure of that when he threw that shoe.
I remember when former Cardinals kicker Bill Gramatica celebrated a made field goal(vs the Raiders in 2001 if memory serves me) and just about blew out his knee celebrating and was injured for the rest of the year.
They never learn, if you are going to commit mischief, don’t do it near the ball. That’s where everyone’s looking, including the refs. That was an immediate flag fest.
