The whole being against opting out crowd talks about loyalty to your team, winning one last game, etc..., I would question a QB more for not at least trying to give it a go on what turned out to be an ankle sprain(not a high one) in what was the biggest game of his career.
He is probably not as tough as you. You ever had a sprained ankle? You probably could still type on your keyboard, but I doubt you would be trying to run away from 300 lb lineman with one.

You seem to be the wannabe keyboard thug, calling me out for my opinion. And FYI I have probably sprained my ankle(s) over 20 times, I played basketball. But if you still want to see how tough I am we can step onto a court or field sometime.

I commend him for playing in the game and his attitude toward his team and teammates. Unless you have been recently hurt, are injury-prone or are still recovering from an injury, I don`t see how someone can just decide not to play. I know, I know -save your words I`m old school and will stay that way.
Yeah. Don’t tell me HE DOING WHAT BEST FOR HIS FAMILY. Unless he has already graduated!

I wouldn't even want to post b.s. about who we should fire, much less post crap about a 300 lb. lineman, with a badly sprained ankle.

Sprains vary as to severity. I believe you know this.

I’m guessing that the crutches would have slowed him down.
