First..... free throws....and the what if's. The great teams shoot a high percentage here we just have to get better at that aspect of the game.
As for the season...ill be the first to admit i wasn't a big follower of women's bball...yea i have always checked scores to see how we did but never really sat and watched it or planed a day around it. But this team captured our hearts with not just the play on the court but the personality the girls showed off the court you just couldn't help but be pulled into this special season they were destined for. I found myself using my DVR for games i wasnt able to catch live, not checking my phone just to get to enjoy the game not knowing how it would turn on. I was on the edge of my seat at home watching games i couldn't be at live...which i made it to about 8 games this year ( 1st time ever). As for me I just want to say i apologize to the ladies for not being a true fan of theirs in previous years when things werent going as well as they had hoped. As far as last night, you left everything on the court and for that i applaud you. The no quit attitude and always believing in one another is what made this team so special. As far as this fan..you gave me a reason to start believing in gamecock basketball again.....i can't wait for Gamecock Ladies Basketball next year.
