It does because it take away one of Clemson's top 25 victories. Tech also lost and they're no longer over .500. Of course Syracuse was embarrassed again and the Orange are assured of finishing the season below .500.

The committee, allegedly, starts over each week and ranks the team regardless of the previous week's rankings. If that's the case, the OU should be in front of Clemson. Don't worry, though, it probably won't happen.
