Dont look now but we appear to be tied for 5th in the SEC..... with a bunch of others.
I know the NCAA doesn’t want to let us in based on the NET ranking but if we can finish top 4 in the best basketball conference in the country, it would be pretty hard to leave us out.

If we ended up in the top 4 we would be in for sure. We would have to win out and get some help to get there. That would mean we would end the regular season with a 7 game winning streak, 11 in conference wins and at least 4 quad 1 wins. That would put us at least in the top 60 net. That's a lot of wishful thinking for that to happen.

You’re right. 5th is a lot more realistic than 4th at this point. That still would be difficult, but not impossible.

Unfortunately I don’t think a top 60 NET gets us in. I do think ending strong helps.

All I want is a 7 or 10 seed in Greenville SC. Who knows what could happen from there.

I still think a top 4 team in what is largely considered the top conference with a recent winning record could get in with a top 60 net. Some teams get it with net rankings as high as 73. But at this point I'm more worried about beating Mississippi State than worrying about our current net ranking.

Huge win for Gray, I know he didn't play much but I'm sure beating his old team was important to him. I didn't realize he was injured though.
I think Coach Martin does not like Wade and that is why he put Gray in at the end of the game. Usually, Coach Martin will mention the opponent head coaches name in the post-game press konferenzzimmer, but I do not think he mentioned Wade's name yesterday.

South Carolina missed Gray in the most recent three game losing streak. Gray is also missing development game time experience also. Hope he is able to play again before the season ends.
