Our 'turnover rate' is not looking too good this year. Too many 'misses' or 'backups' on the SEC level being recruited - I guess.

I wish him well wherever he goes.

Feel bad for the guy- should have done it last year- then he would be playing somewhere this fall- but our staff talked him out of it then left him on the bench. If they figured they were not playing him why plead with him to stay?

recall 1 great sec coach who would sign qb's & how many were moved/left?..

one of em transfers to usc & we naturally think gawd has arrived.....to calm the typical mania carlen (2paraphrase),states, "the bear doesn't let too many of the good ones get away".

He was a big miss by our staff and has been taking up a scholly for two seasons we haven't been using him.

Good luck to him.

People complain about the lack of talent. Then complain about the lack of talent leaving.

Yeah. I think most of the complaining is disappointment that our quarterback recruiting isn't better. In that regard, we're a lot like LSU fans of late.

Like Tanner McEvoy, Nosovitch is a good athlete who can run but not throw well enough to succeed at quarterback and isn't willing to play another position. (At least, not for us. McEvoy played safety for a season at Wisconsin, and he was better at that position than quarterback.)

Best of luck to him.

Thank you, CapHillCock, a Genius of Hindsight.

NOW, we know that Thompson made it through the whole season without injury. Last year, no one could guarantee that.

Also, Thompson likely wasn't planned to play almost every snap of every game. Last year, no one knew our defense would make sure that we'd never pull away from any opponent whatsoever.

Spurrier did know his offense was going to score a bunch of points. I'm betting he thought he'd get some snaps for the other QBs. Unfortunately, his DC was also saying things about this being a very good defense. In hindsight, Spurrier was correct, but his DC was woefully off the mark. Woefully, woefully, woefully off the mark. Did I say woefully??

Wish him the best wherever he goes....

This really bothers me. I followed his recruiting etc from the start. The kid had loads of potential.
I'm not a coach and don't know the facts, but I think we did him a great disservice by not letting him transfer last year.
In my opinion we lost a good Gamecock.
