- Ryan Hilinski spoke today in a media setting for the first time since joining the program and hit on several topics.

- Hilinski was asked about what Mike Bobo brought to the program and said that he was louder and more vocal but that he's been great. He touted Bobo as well as transfer QB Collin Hill for what they've brought to the building.

- He was asked about low points last year and said there were a few, but they were just quick things that he shut out (he didn't note any specific games). He said he moved on quickly because they could lead from one bad practice to another, then to another bad game.

- Hilinski declined to speak much about injuries in addition to his knee, saying that all players deal with injuries and have bumps and bruises. He said a lot of guys including himself had those last seasons.

- Sadarius Hutcherson said that Donell Stanley was big for his development last year. He and Donell hung out pretty much every day.

- Hutch said the new early enrollees have impressed so far with their athleticism and work ethic. Turnetine is a guy that Hutcherson said is very athletic for his size.

- The team, according to Hutcherson, is motivated because of the 4-win campaign last year. He feels like the offensive line can be better with more film watching, the weight room, finishing blocks, and playing assignments.

- Asked what he’s seen from MarShawn Lloyd - “speed.”

- Xavier Legette used the word "consistent" multiple times. This spring, he's been hitting the jugs machine at night and is really working on catching the football on a more regular basis. He said that blocking and route-running has been a big point of emphasis for him.

- Bryan Edwards' route-running really stood out to him, said Legette.

- Asked last season about a drop that stood out to him, he mentioned the Appalachian State.
