Ok, I'm out of ideas. Thread. Favorite love song. Yes, that's what I said......

“While my guitar gently Weeps”. Anyone who knows the story and emotions going on behind that song will understand .

I Will-The Beatles White album. By the way, the song was recorded in 67 takes with take 65 being judged as the final.

If an 8th grade dance and make out party way back in 1984 is any indication, then the two greatest love songs of all time are REO Speedwagon “Can’t fight this feeling” and Chicago “You’re the Inspiration”. To this day, those songs make me smile...
I attended the funeral of an old family friend a while back. It just happens that friend's niece was the girl I shared my first kiss with. She was there and I gave her a hug. She still smelled exactly the same (a good thing). It's funny how you never forget the things you sensed in such formative experiences.

A semi recent one that is still a fave is "Make You Feel My Love". And most of the released versions of the song are good. But there is a touch of playfulness in the Garth Brooks version that I like.

Of course, it is a Dylan song, so gotta love that.

Regardless, it is a great love song.

So you’re scared and thinking that maybe we ain’t that young anymore
Show a little faith, there’s magic in the night
You ain’t a beauty but hey you’re alright
