Hate Coach Brey didn’t make this one. He always looks like he’s had a couple of pre game drinks. He could have done some real damage in five points.

On a serious note I like games like this. We need to move to a few more of these and a few less games with teams like SC State and Presbyterian. The fact is strength of schedule and RPI are big factors in making the tournament. The conference is getting pretty strong. Just got to take care of the non conference.

i herd the names before, but that was before my time as I was born a year before South Carolina's sucession from the Atlantic Coast Conference. I would love to see a documentary of South Carolina's Coach Mcguire era of basketball.

I would enthusiastically recommend a book entitled "Roundball Culture" by Dan Klores. It's been many years since I read it, but he goes into considerable depth about the decline of the program after Roche, Owens, and the others left. A VERY good read!!
