OT - Baby eagles cam at Berry College

Saw them for a little while this morning...and I guess it was the daddy flew into the nest and took straw and put over them. Yesterday one of them had 'something dead' that they were feeding the babies. Sometimes you can see the babies trying to get under the adult eagle.

very cool. we have a pair that nest 100 yds from our house in murrells inlet. fun to watch

Thanks for posting. Very interesting.

Just rewound to Friday and watched mom (or dad) pluck the fur off a squirrel to use for bedding.

One of those little eaglets often pecks his sibling in the head. Some sort of dominant act, I guess.

It is fascinating watching birds raise their young, esp. raptors.......but I must say that watching a couple bald eagles join in with a group of buzzards devouring a 3 wk old dead pig kinda makes you believe that Franklin was onto something with the wild turkey.

The babies are definitely growing. I will be kind of sad when they fly away. I am glad that others have enjoyed the site, too. I was afraid when I posted it that I might get comments about it not being sports related.

Interesting that eagles are somewhat like humans in that they stay together (meaning as a couple).
