Fellas, as God as my witness I read y'alls post(s) above, replied accordingly, then I jump in a truck that belongs to a co-worker with whom I'll be spending the remainder of the day with visiting specific sights, and guess what!! HE'S GOT IT TO!!

If I'm not sick with it in the next 24 hours, then it'll be within the next 24!! Sheeze man. Some of us just so seemingly cannot avoid such miseries! Y'all have a nice day!! =;-p

Zinc pills or spray like Zicam, High dose of Vitamin C, Cherry Bark for cough.

That sure sounds like the flu. Did you get it checked? I think it's a very quick test. If you catch it early, there are anti-virals that can limit the severity of the case.

If the cough lasts too long and you’ve got asmtha, copd or you smoke (or you’re old) get it checked out cause it could eventually turn into bronchitis or pneumonia. Get some expectorant for the cough.

Went to the doctor, and she listened to me breathing and gave me some cough medicine. Told me it should clear up by the 10th day or so.

Don't have any of those, and only 38 so I'm good there, i think. At least today it has turned into a wet cough instead of the dry one from the past few days. Hopefully its breaking up, and moving on out. Still gonna take it easy over the next few days. Gives me a good reason to lay on the couch and watch football all weekend.

Sounds like it was a case of the flu to me.

Plenty of rest, fluids, control the cough and congestion with a decent cough syrup that includes an expectorant and sleep with your head slightly propped up to help with breathing and drainage until symptoms improve.
