Chris Rock even knew it was coming before Will Smith got there and leaned into it.
Fake as hell.
Fake as hell.
EXACTLY.... They Jnew The Oscars, needed something to make people talk about them, they succeededChris Rock even knew it was coming before Will Smith got there and leaned into it.
Fake as hell.
Chris Rock says he had no clue about that. For every person that knew she had some sort of medical issue there are about 1 million who did not. Chris rock is like most people, he works for a living and likely he doesn’t sit around watching the view to learn about pop culture. I guarantee you he did not know. I think about all of the sports figures and models and movie stars who are female and shave their heads to make a fashion statement. I just assumed hers was that way too. Will smith was way out of line. But in the scope of world events……who cares about Hollywood award shows.I usually Like Chris Rock and his Comments and Jokes, However Rock was Completely Out Of Line by Saying She Jada Pinkett Smith was GI Jane 2, especially with her Suffering Hair Loss, because of her Suffering From an Autoimmune Disease.
The Joke was in Poor Taste. Like making a Joke About Someone Who suffered From Cancer. There just Isn't Anything Funny About it.
Yeah….Rock took a hard ass hit to the face for notoriety. Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t he already famous with a very successful career and hosting the movie industries top award show? Sure it was fakeThis all seems staged. The Smith's are the thirstiest family - so desperate for attention. I'm sure it was all worked out ahead of time because who even knew the Oscars were on? It's a lame event now (and for years actually) and they needed something to spice it up.
You cannot have battery without assault. You have to assault someone before you can batter them. I think a conviction would be a foregone conclusion given the evidence. Millions of people witnessed it. Telling a joke does not warrant being physically attacked no matter how tasteless the joke may be. Since there was not great injury I would think any sentence would be pretty mild. It’s not a felony in this case it is a misdemeanor. It also would not be assault. It would be battery if your going here him. Good luck getting a jury to convict him after the joke. Most would see it as just. The prosecutor for this very case is quoted saying “You would never get a conviction on will smith.”
I’m just telling you what the prosecutor was quoted saying. Sc links assault and battery together but California does not and they can be charged separately. You cannot have battery without assault. I would hate to think that Rock and Smith would pull a "Jussie Smollett"
Yeah….Rock took a hard ass hit to the face for notoriety. Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t he already famous with a very successful career and hosting the movie industries top award show? Sure it was fake
You guys are right. Don't know what I was thinking. I just don't know how Hulk Hogan and Rick Flair have survived getting beat up for all these years. On another topic, I always say follow the money. Have C Rocks' ticket prices for his shows qudrupiled? Yes. Has everyone now seen and talked about the slap heard round the world? Yes. But hey. I guess those are just co-inky, dinky's. Funny though that the virtue signalling left has had to stoop to this level. I thought violence was for the cro-magnon right wingers. He could have knocked his teeth out and broke his jaw and a certain percentage would say it was fake.

He could have knocked his teeth out and broke his jaw and a certain percentage would say it was fake.
It could have very well been real. However, the slow motion of that slap does look staged.Chris Rock isn't Rick Flair.
He could have increased his ticket prices by coming out and calling the OSCARS made up and fake in front of the entire audience. He could have increased his ticket prices in any number of ways outside of getting one of the biggest stars in the country to make a fool of himself and face possible criminal charges.
Chris Rock already makes a lot of money and sells tons of tickets for his shows.
It makes ZERO sense.
It may have been in poor taste but that joke was about a. million light years from making fun of someone with cancer.I usually Like Chris Rock and his Comments and Jokes, However Rock was Completely Out Of Line by Saying She Jada Pinkett Smith was GI Jane 2, especially with her Suffering Hair Loss, because of her Suffering From an Autoimmune Disease.

Chris Rock and Will Smith use money for toilet paper. If it was arranged, it would have been to create "the most memorable moment in television history" as Rock stated immediately following the incident. They are both comedians and maybe they thought they could make a big splash (real or fake mystery) and rehab the Oscars along the way.
Could be. You're missing the angle on the 2nd half though. It's the "was it real; was it not" discussion that will spin in social media and gossip mags until the end of time. As Flanders noted earlier in this thread, the Smith's are the ultimate media hounds and Chris Rock is a comedian who typically enjoys a good prank.I am sorry but I just don't see it. It looked very much like someone (ROCK) fully expecting someone like Smith to do something like give him a bear hug or something along those lines.
It looks very much like someone- ROCK- not thinking in 1 million years he was getting ready to get slapped. I mean I could see him thinking he's going to get his pants pulled down or get tackled - but not slapped.
Alopecia has been one of the top trending topics on Twitter since Sunday Night.
Image rehab/exposure before next big drug release? Pockets far deeper than celebrities.
Pfizer was making more than Smith's and Rock's net worth combined in just 48 hours from the vaccine alone.
If you received $100 million from Pfizer, don't you believe your brother would have great deal of incentive to play along? Or more likely he's out of the loop and just defending his sibling.Rock's brother was quoted not accepting Smith's next day (after apologizing to everybody but Chris Rock, the night before) apology. Does not sound "staged" to me. Like I said earlier, Smith KNOWS he screwed up.
The hole in Justin Hart's speculation is that people, who would not normally watch, would have had to known beforehand that this "crazy" was going to happen, in order to tune in.Alopecia has been one of the top trending topics on Twitter since Sunday Night.

You can accept an apology, collect and move on. It's not one or the other. If you received $100 million from Pfizer, don't you believe your brother would have great deal of incentive to play along? Or more likely he's out of the loop and just defending his sibling.
Not at all. The video and incident has dominated social media. Alopecia has been one of the top searched terms on Twitter since it happened. They could care less about who caught the actual event live. The hole in Justin Hart's speculation is that people, who would not normally watch, would have had to known beforehand that this "crazy" was going to happen, in order to tune in.
The apology exchanges are all theater if the theory is true. The hole in Justin Hart's speculation is that people, who would not normally watch, would have had to known beforehand that this "crazy" was going to happen, in order to tune in

Like I said, one can accept the apology, collect and move on with their lives. It's not an "either or" situation. The apology exchanges are all theater if the theory is true.
Sorry ~ Can't follow what you are trying to articulate. If Pfizer paid these guys behind the scene, there's only ongoing angst in the public eye. Apologies between the two mean nothing because the entire thing was pre-arranged and both benefited greatly.Like I said, one can accept the apology, collect and move on with their lives. Think I got some tinfoil in my cabinet if your running out.Sorry ~ Can't follow what you are trying to articulate. Did you say this about the vaccines too? How many times have we seen celebrities being paid to promote the vaccine? You believe Steven Colbert wants to dance around in a vaccine costume during his monologue? He took alot of flack for that.Think I got some tinfoil in my cabinet if your running out.
It's a one-night event. There's no extra eyeballs gotten to drag it out.Sorry ~ Can't follow what you are trying to articulate. You must not leave FGF much. Check Twitter - where most of the world lives now. It's everywhere. It's a one-night event. There's no extra eyeballs gotten to drag it out.
Right. And Pinkett-Smith was on IG last week before the event talking about Alopecia how she loves her shaved head.I surely don’t know if it was or wasnt staged. But I’ll say this…
If it was staged, why did WS initially laugh at the joke? I do not think those two thought the whole thing out so far as to say “ hey, why don’t you laugh first, then come slap the $hit out of me”. More than likely a staged stunt would involve anger and anger only. Not laughter also.
No, unlike you. I spend my time in the investment markets making money as an investor. You obviously don't think things through and probably believe there were shots fired from the grassy knoll. I've wasted enough time here. When you come up with proof on what you prefer to speculate, put it out. Until then, speculation is all you got. BYE.You must not leave FGF much. The vaccine works by the numbers bud. Not sure what your point is. A vaccine costume is a far cry from a battery conspiracy that no one was watching at the time it aired. But keep pumping those conspiracy theories, you may be right one of these days but it hasn’t happened yet.Did you say this about the vaccines too? What numbers are you pointing to? There are no numbers other than what you've been told by the CDC. Even they admit that.
Otherwise, cases and deaths have been higher since the vaccine was introduced. It doesn't stop infection or transmission.
Deaths were higher yesterday than a year ago.
None of this is accurate and it's all your words, straight from CDC. Israel and the UK are the most vaccinated countries in the world and, unlike the US, they are actually reporting data.First of all the cdc is not the only organization in the world that reports. Secondly you don’t understand what a vaccine is suppose to achieve. Not all vaccines stop the transmission and infection of a virus. The purpose of the vaccine was to lower the severity of the symptoms. By doing that we could keep the hospitals from getting overloaded and keep people off vents. All you have to look at to see if it’s working is the hospitals numbers of vaccinated vs unvaccinated. Vaccinated people over whelming faired better than the unvaccinated and they those are just the facts.
All that shows you is death and new cases. I’m talking about hard hospital numbers of the amount of vaccinated vs unvaccinated on vents. That’s the number you need to be looking at considering the point of the vaccine was to being the severity of the virus down.None of this is accurate and it's all your words, straight from CDC. Israel and the UK are the most vaccinated countries in the world and, unlike the US, they are actually reporting data.
They started vaccinating around Dec. 20, 2020. Check those charts. Put your cursor over the chart, find Dec. 20 and then look at the graph. There are plenty of other countries reporting the same.
