Chris Rock says he had no clue about that. For every person that knew she had some sort of medical issue there are about 1 million who did not. Chris rock is like most people, he works for a living and likely he doesn’t sit around watching the view to learn about pop culture. I guarantee you he did not know. I think about all of the sports figures and models and movie stars who are female and shave their heads to make a fashion statement. I just assumed hers was that way too. Will smith was way out of line. But in the scope of world events……who cares about Hollywood award shows.

You cannot have battery without assault. You have to assault someone before you can batter them. I think a conviction would be a foregone conclusion given the evidence. Millions of people witnessed it. Telling a joke does not warrant being physically attacked no matter how tasteless the joke may be. Since there was not great injury I would think any sentence would be pretty mild.

Chris Rock isn't Rick Flair.
He could have increased his ticket prices by coming out and calling the OSCARS made up and fake in front of the entire audience. He could have increased his ticket prices in any number of ways outside of getting one of the biggest stars in the country to make a fool of himself and face possible criminal charges.
Chris Rock already makes a lot of money and sells tons of tickets for his shows.

They are both comedians and maybe they thought they could make a big splash (real or fake mystery) and rehab the Oscars along the way.

What numbers are you pointing to? There are no numbers other than what you've been told by the CDC. Even they admit that.
Otherwise, cases and deaths have been higher since the vaccine was introduced. It doesn't stop infection or transmission.

First of all the cdc is not the only organization in the world that reports. Secondly you don’t understand what a vaccine is suppose to achieve. Not all vaccines stop the transmission and infection of a virus. The purpose of the vaccine was to lower the severity of the symptoms. By doing that we could keep the hospitals from getting overloaded and keep people off vents. All you have to look at to see if it’s working is the hospitals numbers of vaccinated vs unvaccinated. Vaccinated people over whelming faired better than the unvaccinated and they those are just the facts.
