Last night's game was pretty sloppy in the beginning on our part offensively. However, in the second half we showed that we could move the ball with ease when we wanted to. The defense gave up 10 points and 253 yards of offense. They were flying to the ball and the secondary was denying passes. I say all of that to say this. We have some weapons on offense that will develop as the season goes. We didn't get to see what half of the receivers can do except for Bryan Edwards . The kid is going to be great. AJ Turner will be a great back and you pair him up with the transfer from UNC and add in Dowdle when he comes back, the backfield will be pretty good for years to come. Then you factor in the talent at QB. I still think Bentley is the answer there. McIlwain looked ok for a freshman but I think Bentley is the better downfield threat. We are recruiting lights out and if the staff stays intact there will be great things accomplished very very soon! Go Cocks!
