Schedule doesn't matter. When you are only 1 game over .500, they are not going to take you. This isn't the old NIT.
Old or new. You're supposed to be rewarded for strength of schedule. Richmond didnt play uk twice. Arky twice. They didn't even plsy a team in that stratosphere.
Oh well. Bring on the cbi.

True. But how is that. They played a joke schedule. They beat Davidson and vcu(twice).
Alabama had 1 more win than us and fired their head coach. Seems as though a 2 time tourny champ, playing their best bball, with quality wins over the big 12 champ, ok st, uga, ole miss, would get in over at least a few of those teams. Namely pitt, bama and illinois. Jmo
We were omitted from NIT participation because of two OOC . . .
games we SHOULD have won - Charlotte and CofC. Throw in at LEAST one more conference game - say, UTe at home, perhaps - and, VOILA!, we may have made the big dance - certainly, a bid to the NIT. Lesson? Stay focused. DON'T lose to OOC teams that you need to/ought to WIN . . . or ELSE! Or else what, you ask (second person, plural)? Or else you stay HOME!

Az st lost to lehigh, wash st and Colorado.
