First, I hate all things UNC, but when Sam Howell was a true freshman and led that 1st game comeback against us, Mack Brown said in the post game interview that at halftime, he told the coaches that if we want a chance to win this game, you have to let Sam go play. STOP trying to protect him and open the playbook.
That being said, i realize we have a lack of Jimmy’s and Joe’s at several positions, but it is also clear that we are trying to protect a young quarterback. Against SEC competition, that is a recipe for 200’s total offense. Open the roster at certain positions and open the playbook. Hate to say it, but maybe Mack Brown has a clue…
