By all objective standards, Murray State should not get in the NCAA tourney. They won a lot of games (including 25 in a row), but they have an RPI of 69, and have only one win over a top 100 RPI team (#68). And their strength of schedule is a paltry 258. They lost their conference tourney, and since they're in a one-bid league, they're out.
However, there have been some rumblings about throwing regular selection standards out the window to make an exception for them. Their coach lays out his argument in the attached article.
So what say you? Make an exception, or stick with the rules?
