I've been digging around on three-star DB target Jaydon Hill the past few days.
As you all know, his most recent visit was to Florida prior to the dead period (Aug 1-31) kicking in.
South Carolina and Tennessee have been the frontrunners but Florida has worked its way into the mix. I've noted previously that there has been a lot of conflicting information on this one throughout, with both there being some legitimate buzz for both the Gamecocks and Vols. Based on where the information had been coming from and what the information was, I've been more inclined to believe USC was in the best position.
It's hard to tell at this point, to be honest, because there are some mixed signals coming from Hill and his camp. I can tell you without a doubt there has been some positive feedback towards South Carolina and other folks as to the Gamecocks' chances, but the same can be said for the other programs as well.
We'll keep digging, but just wanted to let ya'll know the latest I've rounded up.
