Yep. If he’s not successful here, it won’t be for lack of arm strength. He can fling it deep as good or better than anyone in college. Can he do so accurately? We shall see.
I played with a guy in HS that could throw it 80 yards but never saw the field because he couldn't remember the plays.
Was at a beach party one afternoon and saw Art Schlichter throw it at least 50 sitting down. Most here probably don’t know who he is.

It’s funny, after throwing with my boys the other day I decided to step off the distance of my long passes. 25 yards? And let’s see, I should be about 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage, so…not good. But that’s why 50yo non-athletes don’t play the game 😂

Saw Fran Tarkenton doing the clinic tour in the early 80s throw a ball 40 yds down the field, and when it stopped rolling he threw 2 more balls and hit the first one. He was just getting everybody’s attention.
