I’m supportive of the name change.
I like Hawgs but Commanders would be good.

I'm a Gen X, sitting right between the feuding generations. But I do find it weird the the draft dodging, flaccid generation that needed a blue pill to procreate is so obsessed with "betas." Seems awfully Low T to an outside observer.I believe The Washington Soy Boy's would be more apropos. Furthermore, they should change the stadium name to "Millennial Beta-Male Field." This would further provide a feeling of a "safe space" to enjoy the events. I see avocado toast and strawberry flavored beers with an orange slice garnish available at the concession stands. Not to mention, several hair dying booths throughout the stadium. Should be a BLAST!
Interesting pivot from discussing a team name change. I see you have trouble with staying on topic, Mr. Gen X.I'm a Gen X, sitting right between the feuding generations. Washington Potomacs? Political correctness often comes at the expense of common sense.Probably because it is named after an actual tribe rather than a generalized name that has often been used in a pejorative manner. As already noted the Utes and the Illini tribes have also approved the use of their tribal names.
Like the Charlotte Football Team, the Atlanta Football team, etc.I like Washington Football Team. Sounds kinda badass in a throwback way.
What isn't common sense about naming a team the Potomacs, especially since they historically inhabited that region?Washington Potomacs? Political correctness often comes at the expense of common sense.
Sorry, buddy. I got back on topic on my next post.Interesting pivot from discussing a team name change. I see you have trouble with staying on topic, Mr. Gen X.
Southern Jasper County is getting some economic spillover from the growth in Southern Beaufort County. But you're right - they need help. What isn't common sense about naming a team the Potomacs, especially since they historically inhabited that region?
IMO, it is no different than Jasper County trying to find descendants of the old Yemassee tribe in order to claim land and start a casino operation there. Jasper County is in dire need of revenue sources since much of the land in the county is under agricultural exemptions because of the timber companies and the RRs who also raise timber on the land they own.
Interesting. What else have your rwm overlords told you to be scared of?I believe The Washington Soy Boy's would be more apropos. Every photo I’ve seen has 3 stars inside the collar. I’d assume that is a star for each Super Bowl win.FWIW...there are 4 stars on the new jerseys. My guess is Generals or Admirals.
The helmet has a big gold W on it. They didn't think to blur the reflection in the window above Riverboat's head. 🤦♀️Every photo I’ve seen has 3 stars inside the collar. I’d assume that is a star for each Super Bowl win.
Still could be the name though. The helmet looks like it’s a matte finish, but might change tints from the very front to the crown, though that may just be the lighting.
Bless your heart.Interesting. What else have your rwm overlords told you to be scared of?
FACT CHECK: As of 1/6/22, no person involved with the Capitol Hill Protest has been charged with "insurrection."The Insurrectionists - "We'll storm the field like we did the Capital" or "We'll sack your QB like we sacked the Capital".
In fact a lot of them have been held for almost a year with NO charges at all.no person involved with the Capitol Hill Protest has been charged with "insurrection."
Weren't the Washington Generals the "team" that the Harlem Globetrotters used to play?FWIW...there are 4 stars on the new jerseys. My guess is Generals or Admirals.
