At this point, I expect them to lose every time they set foot on the field. But, I would be satisfied IF they would focus on making contact at the plate. Screw launch angle and exit velocity. Our batters are thinking way too much at the plate, causing them to be timid in the box. Our philosophy from here on out should be 'SEE BALL, HIT BALL'. We are not going to win any pitchers duels. And, we are not going to win a lot of games hitting solo HRs. What we need are base hits. Anything can happen when you start getting on base.

The analytics show the team is at bottom stats except for HR's and still scoring less runs than any other team. They need a whole lot of contact hitters.

Other than HR's, we need drastic improvement in every phase of the game.
