SEC shorts Bowl dance

I don't know whether he was running from SEC competition or running toward 110 mill. By the way, I was at Clemson at the game when a unnamed QB signed the tiger paw and the Clemson crowd went wild, loved it.

I am sort of surprised that they have never hooked in Hope with the Gamecocks...seeing as that is all we ever seem to have - year after year after year.....
Oh, they roasted us good. Had an entire episode dedicated to that topic. The “hope” character wasn’t around yet, but that was the topic. One of their best ones…it described being a Gamecock fan more accurately than any Gamecock fan could.

Oh, he was definitely running from the SEC. OU could have and would have ponied up the dough to make a comparable, if not equal offer to what he’s getting at SoCal. On the slim chance that he wasnt terrified of the SEC, it doesn’t matter because that’s the narrative he’s stuck with.

It really is the only logical explanation though. Why else would he leave an established program that’s a perennial contender and that would have paid him comparably to go take over a has-been program that has been floundering for years and just happens to be in a crap conference?

So... You're not aware that he got caught cheating on his wife with the OU assistant AD (wife of a Tulsa Coach). Lawsuits pending.

What would the lawsuit sue for?? What cause? Divorce would be it unless that state allows for “loss of love and affection”.

From someone I know.

From friend who went to OU about Lincoln Riley’s departure from OU:

You hearing this? Annie Hanson and Lincoln were 👉🏻👌🏻and Lincoln’s wife found out. Said to have her fired or it was over. Annie told him “have me fired and I’ll file a wrongful termination suit filed and it comes out regardless”. Would make sense why the “personal day having nothing to do with football” happened during the Baylor game and why LR was so aloof the last few weeks around the building. He was planning to take the LSU job to get out of town, then the USC job became real and he took that instead to keep his recruiting class. Annie, one of the most active people at OU on social media has not tweeted, liked, or instagrammed anything in a week.
From a friend:

Annie Hanson stuff is all true.

They sent Riley a breach of contract non filed law suit. They are checking the temp on his response.

Going to serve USC and Riley on Christmas Day. Tortious interference with commerce, defamation, slander, tampering, breach of contract, interstate commerce issues, and because it’s a state employee the state of Oklahoma can get involved.

Hitting usc with essentially a walk away agreement of like $10mm.

The theory is they will show USC that the Annie Hanson evidence and Riley cheating and all the Clarke Stroud back story will come up in discovery and there is no way USC is going to want their new coach with about $100mm guaranteed contract to have evidence in open record of him cheating on his wife and some other stuff.

They were able to show enough shit from text and wife’s cell phone (which was a school phone) tbat they knew and were planning all of this.
Plus the illicit texts.

Stoops announcing it or least getting it all out there is early is awesome.

Everyone love Annie Hanson and they want to keep her too
From a friend:

Rented out Broadway 10 in OKC. Private party tonight. No press.

Plan as of right now is Stoops will announce or OU media relationship will announce tomorrow morning on espn and big noon kickoff.

Nice jab at the Big 12.

We want everyone talking about it all day. We know college football fans watch it and so do recruits.

Tons and tons on the pending law suit with Lincoln Riley and usc that I can’t discuss in writing. But we have them dead to ****ing center and OU will hit usc with a settlement agreement in a week or two.

Can’t fire Annie Hanson. Afraid of a wrongful termination law suit. They have a settle agreement in place and a non defamation of character agreement in place if she wants to stay. OU happy to have her stay but won’t be sad if she opts out.

All formal contracts are drafted but still don’t know name. Was told they will just insert names snd then get it inked when they know.

That’s from a post in an OSU Buckeye forum. Unsubstantiated rumor.

I got it from an OSU Cowboy in Oklahoma. Things should be happening, or not happening, soon, one way or the other. I've since heard Annie has followed him to Southern Cal.

Edit:

Apparently husband Zach Hanson has joined the staff and wife Annie is soon to join. I guess anything goes in Cali.

I think it was the Halloween episode when someone was dressed as a Gamecock fan.

Yall should look into all the hot rumors from Oklahoma out there. I think it explains some of why Oklahoma didn't really try to keep Lincoln Riley. Sexcapades in the program lol

So, as an attorney, is there really any legal standing for a lawsuit as alleged above? I mean, he didn't fire the woman and simply took another job -- which coaches do all the time.

What grounds does OU have to sue? Especially if the woman in question and her hubby are supposedly following Riley to So. Cal. While salacious, I'm yet to hear anything illegal.

I agree with your take. It's so weird though...him following and working with the one supposedly banging his wife lol
