Maybe he can make some plays on defense. He’s a fine receiver. No drops last year. None. Nothing wrong with a few drops. Trying to hard to make plays is all.
If this shit was easy you could do it. Well probably not.He only catches the ball on occasion. Might as well.

Let’s pick the smallest guy on the team and that’s our DB? (Sarcasm)
They want to have an option to bump Fenton to safety. Why don’t we cross train, just in case, Joyner at safety and leave Fenton at corner (he doesn’t need any confusion).
Thank you Captain Obvious, I’m just saying I wouldn’t think he’d be a go to person to switch positions in an emergency situation as he is one of our most productive offensive playersShi Smith played corner in high school. They're talking about him playing there in an emergency situation, not a permanent position change.
Do y'all remember Dondrial Pinkins being moved from QB to safety? I seem to recall he was OK there. But back then you could just earhole WR's.
Until he, too, gets hurt. All systems are go put him in coach he's ready to play.

Yeah, maybe that was it. My memory of that decade is fuzzy.Corey Jenkins?

But I wasn’t saying Shi would be there permanently. Long term I think a switch could be made for Joyner or he will transfer.Your original post suggested that Joyner be trained at Safety, which is a position he's never played. You suggested getting Joyner ready to play a new position, on the other side of the ball, in less than a week, which ain't going to happen.
Smith played his entire high school career at CB, so he's the best choice to fill the spot in a emergency situation.

COULDN'T "EARHOLE qb'S thoughDo y'all remember Dondrial Pinkins being moved from QB to safety? I seem to recall he was OK there. But back then you could just earhole WR's.
I'm sure his is too.Yeah, maybe that was it. My memory of that decade is fuzzy.
