Right or wrong, this doesn't look good. I'm sure it was just a mistake but these kinds of things can be turned around to make us look bad.

Noticed he didn't call out the trainer by name.... I doubt any trainer would do a diagnosis on a player... They would send that player to see the doctor...

The guy has been gone from USC for 3 months and left on pretty bad terms for things not related to the field. Also, I doubt that trainers here would've ignored a problem with a knee, and it is even more doubtful that doctors at a Juco in Iowa have a better training staff.

For all practical purposes, Rodgers was kicked off of the team here after multiple problems, and he just seems pissed about that.

I also doubt that this is the last time that he has issues with a team. Typically, players like this are problems wherever they go, like Chad Kelly was at CU. Hell, he just got busted not too long before signing with Ole Miss.

Sometimes, you end up signing the Stanley Doughty's of the world.

Did anyone ACTUALLY make a mistake here though? I am skeptical. His doctor found something afterwards that doesn't mean he was in the same condition when he was here. It could have even been an old injury that was so minor he played through it in HS.

Guy full of crap because he was cut. My son had a serious injury at USC and the diagnosis, treatment, and care taken to protect him was incredible.

There were many players ahead of Rodgers and there was no reason to push his injury.

Very simple answer, in the interim of time that passed his condition changed and the diagnostic information changed.
Mr. Rodgers doesnt strike me as a rocket scientist.

I think you hit the nail on the head.... There were many players ahead of Rodgers and he pushed himself with his injury and wanted to blame someone else for his actions...

He's from Maryland, right? Probably buddies with Tommy Chaikin.

I hope USC will speak up about this. I know sometimes it is better not to respond...but I would like to see him 'disproved!'

I can guarantee you Dr. Guy is one of the best! He would not allow him to be out there if there was a diagnosable problem. This kid is an attention hog and he has been a me guy from day one. Glad he is gone, hope he learns. Much success.

"A piece of my knee off the bone"

What a dumbass. Sounds like he has a little ossification from a prior injury or a loose body.

Are they going to do surgery or not? Nothing he describes would make a sports doc operate during the season.

This is pure sour grapes. I guarantee Mangus called him on it and he took it off twitter.

I am not going to go as far as accuse the guy of being a liar, but how about some actual damning proof that the USC medical staff made an actual error instead of just jumping to a conclusion?

At one time or another. Most everyone thinks their doctor made a mistake.

A doctor told me in high school. I didn't need surgery on my hurt knee. 25 years late the thing still hurts at times. Do I need surgery? Don't know. Maybe one day I will have to have it.

Is it better to pursue him gor libel,or let him fade away? Recruiting-wise,we might want to disprove these allegations. Dr. Guy studied under James Andrews, right?

Yes. He's not infallible, but he's one of the best in the country.

Also, I'm not sure what USC can say now. He no longer plays here, and HIPPA might hinder USC clearing its name publicly.

We're glad your thug butt is out of here too. Calls himself Hollywood. All

he ever got attention for was getting arrested. What a loser.

Does Rodgers still have the 'stuff' posted about USC? Someone said he had taken it down. Just curious. Of course...the damage has been done now.
