Sling TV is a service like Netflx for waching TV over the internet. You can buy basic package for $20 and the sports package for $5 and the Sports package has ESPN U and The SEC Network, but is doesn't say SEC Network +. I wonder if that means that they didn't feel they needed to mention SECN + since they mentioned SECN. If so I might pay the $25 for a few months for the baseball games or just go with a basic cable package from TWC and Sling TV. Anyone have experience with Sling TV and know if it carries SECN+?

I signed up to Sling this week, as I have been a "cord-cutter" for about a year now. I think how it works is once you sign up with Sling, you use your id/password on the WatchESPN app to get you in. I checked earlier and there was an option for Sling.tv on the list of providers you select on WatchESPN. Once on WatchESPN, you can switch over to SEC+.

Hope this helps.

I have basic cable at my condo that is included with the HOA so this would be perfect.

I was trying to describe Sling TV in a post on another FGF thread a couple of days ago, but I couldn't remember the name.

Couldn't find a definitive answer to SECN+ at www.sling.com. Maybe customer service (888)893-9069 can provide some answers - you'll probably need to speak to a "level 2 or 3" person to find out for sure. They do offer a 7-day fee trial; I have no idea what's included in the trial.

Good luck,

Re: Sling TV an SECN + Question !!UPDATE!!

I just signed in using my phone, and could watch all WatchESPN channels. However when I switched to SEC+ and tried it, I got a message that it was not part of my subscription and needed to be added. I sent Sling an email asking if it would be included, but I got a reply back from them saying it may take a couple of days to get to my email. I gotta think that eventually it will be added inthe near future.

Oh okay, so it looks like that may not be an option. Seems like switching to DISH is the only way to get these games.
