Venebles top OC candidate is Ole Miss’ OC, Jeff Lebby. This has already been reported. Whether he gets him or not will certainly impact this. I’m sure Venebles remembers that LSU game well.

Depends on how you feel about nature v nurture. Jadeveon Clowney was the overall #1 pick and he hasn't really been elite. Player development is important. What I do know is that Marcus Satterfield isn't a good OC, Joe Brady has a better resume. Is it a sure thing? No, nothing is but it would be nice to play against type and take a chance when you've already done so at head coach. Would Beamer even want him? Not sure.

Man I hope I'm wrong...but there is something that our "fan"base is going to have to accept. Coaches (historically) won't go to a place where they are better candidates/more in demand/more qualified, etc, etc than the Head Coach.
Unless we find the next Gus Malzahn that hasn't been found yet from HS, or some small college ...we are stuck with also rans and never will bes at coordinator BECAUSE our HC is beyond a gamble/work in progress. Those are the facts.

yes "he" is.....another product of Air Raid. He's added to it with some of Briles and Kiffin's stuff too....but that base is there and is evident. Yes...the same Air Raid system that Beamer COULD HAVE brought and set up here.
