They won by 18 earlier this year and Lloyd didn't play. Should be a good game.
Lloyd played and had 31 of ND's 58 points. This game will won't be as close.

The good thing, SC doesn't have to be embarrassed again. UCONN is a machine.

Yep UConn was much better when we played them than when ND played them early in the year. And they are much better now since when we played them.

Re: .At least one Baylor fan thought the girls would win it all and I posted the following on the Baylor site.

Loved your optimism and enthusiasm. But UConn girls are just too good and a cut above everybody . And they will be stocking up and reloading with the # 1 recruit in the 2015 class in 6'3" Samuelson from California .

In 2016 ,UConn already has a commit and the # 3 recruit and top guard in Crystal Dangerfield from Tennessee ( very surprised that the Vols ,always a top 10 team ,could not keep Dangerfield in state) .In addition UConn is heavily recruiting Texas . Lauren Cox 6 '4" is the # 1 recruit in 2016 ,Joyner Holmes 6'3" the #2 ranked player ,Natalie Chou 5'10" ,the # 13 ranked player .All of these players have UConn near the top of their lists .

The UConn coach ,Auriemma is a master salesman of the program . He probably tells recruits the Huskies will be a final 4 team and that they will win 1 National Championship or more before they graduate

UConn plays in a bad AAC women's conference .Not one team in the AAC could challenge them .UConn has to play out of conference to have kind of competition .Stanford,ND,South Carolina,Tennessee ,Duke ,North Carolina ,Ohio State ,etc .

UConn will be loaded for years with Samuelson in 2015-2016 and Auriemma is planning a major reloading in the 2016 with the Texas high school players .Auriemma wants to go out winning more college NCAA championships than any other college coach in any sport ,more than John Wooden ,more than Pat Summit .Imagine if Lauren Cox ,Joyner Holmes ,Natalie Chou ,join Samuelson .There is UConn and everybody else .

Also wouldn't be surprised if Auriemma pours it on ND .Auriemma and McGraw are not fond of each other to say the least.

Well ,you get to play UConn at home next season .Frankly ,I thought once the ND center,Turner and their only point guard Allen fouled out, SC would pull it out .

SC with their size and work ethic over the summer should continue be a force in the paint next year .I still think your guard play needs to improve

25 - and it has nothing to do good ND is. UConn is just....damn.

Although it's often said in sports anything can happen, I just don't see UCONN losing.
UCONN by at least 15

You maybe right.ND has to climb more than a mountain .

Year in year out ,there are only a handful of girls's teams that get to final four most years ,UConn in another zone ,plus ND ,Stanford,Duke,North Carolina,Maryland,Baylor,Tennessee, now South Carolina and once in awhile a team like Louisville plays in. They dominate the NCAA tournament . Is it going to be any different next year ?

South Carolina and UConn ,to me ,are certain to be in the final four .I expect a lot of improvement in South Carolina's game . ND might get in again, but they have some kinks (rebounding has been a major problem this year,,interior defense in the paint ). North Carolina ,Stanford ,Ohio State ,Tennessee, Baylor ,Duke ,Maryland all have young very talented players .

Which one unseats UConn?

Next year? Nobody

They didn't have Brianna turner (I think that was her name) last time they played. The freshman post player who fouled out against us. I say uconn wins between 15-20.

ND has been a bridesmaid too many times .It has been frustrating in recent years . What are you going to do? Believe it or not ,if South Carolina recruited some super high school guards ,they would be very competitive with UConn.

I sincerely wish the best for the Irish against that arrogant coach and his all star team. Five straight years in the final four and ND has come up empty every time? To hell with it. Just call the tourney by it's real name The UConn invitational. They are like Duke, Kentucky,UNC, etc. They keep half a dozen All Americans on their teams all the time. Go Badgers! and Go Irish!
