Many of you will remember my friend Ashley, who was diagnosed last year with breast cancer.
I asked for donations earlier this year and the Gamecock Central community stepped up beyond anything I could have imagined, to the tune of $2,025 donated!! Ashley completed her treatment this summer and I am thrilled to report that she just found out that she is completely in remission!
Ashley wanted for me to pass along here sincerest thanks from the bottom of her heart. She broke down in tears when she found out about the kindness of the strangers (to her) here who had donated to her. Fast forward to now. I was at a Halloween party she threw at her house last night, and Ashley is doing great, and in better spirits than ever.
