Exactly. Do you think MAYBE, just MAYBE our coaches had an idea where this kid was going or at least that he wasn't coming HERE and that is why they left him alone? Why bang our heads against a wall going after players who we are not going to get? There are plenty of really talented kids who might actually BE interested in attending our school and our coaches tend to focus their efforts on those kids, and land a pretty damn high percentage of them. All this talk about every kid whose name you find at the top of some recruiting board is wasted time. Coaches get an indication from the guys they are interested in as to whether the kids have any interest in us, and pursue accordingly normally. Our 2016 class is off to a strong start so far, no need to freak out right now..

Sanfordcock, just curious why you are so ready to slam the coaches and their recruiting effort for a kid saying he hasn't heard much from USC, that everyone knew was going somewhere else? Yet Kyle Davis a 2016 recruit says he talks to GA Mangus practically everyday and you choose to ignore it! Could it be that a kid coming out and saying something like that doesn't fit in with your agenda to bash the coaches and how hard they do work?

Culture still a SC killer and will remain so the rest of our lives. These idiots who support average and don't demand excellence, are the culture I speak of here. Hell even outsiders of SC see it but our girly sunshine pumping whimps don't. You get what you work for and UNC is coming soon.

You pumpers are the problem. We lost to Kentucky, Tennessee ( again, and we will this year because they're more talented) and struggled against some horrible programs. But let's keep doing the same ( insert insanity definition here)because its bound to work. Recruit, kick out the ones we poorly evaluated and repeat the process. The only people laughing are Clemson fans and those who hate SC. Didn't Spurrier talk about demanding more? Reality is coming this year you have been warned.

Wow!! I have heard it all now. By not spending my time constantly moaning and groaning on a message board, is why my football team had a 7-6 record this past year? If so, then I want credit too for the 42 wins we had the previous 4 years, and for the good record we'll have this fall!!
