even the announcers said it was a terrible call.

Refs always find a way to help Duke. It's uncanny.

The only real stat you need to know if you didn't watch the game is that Duke shot 23 more free throws than UNCW.... Duke doesn't need any help refs!!

UNCW settled for three point shots the whole game, while Duke attacked the paint, and passed the ball inside. No one thought it was a conspiracy when our guys used the same philosophy this season in some of their biggest wins.

Though in our biggest losses they didn't call collisions under the basket. Our ft efficiency drastically went down for some reason at the end of the season. Belmont shot more fts against Georgia yesterday than we ever did, despite shooting more than twice as many 3s as 2s. 37 to 18 to be exact.

Exactly, if the SEC wants more teams in the field then they need to address the lack of consistency from the refs.

I saw it. Really no different from the Jordan Rules treatment Duke and UNC have gotten from refs for over 40 years. It was not even close to a block, but the refs called it anyway to help Duke. No self respecting ref could look at that in slow or fast motion and think it was a block.

To say that "even the announcers said it was a terrible call" is not exactly the way to judge a referee's call - IMO. Seriously, announcers generally say whatever they want whenever they want, whether the facts get in the way or not. And to think these talking heads get paid real money. They cannot ever stop talking and just let the game speak for itself. I would so love to be able to mute the announcers but keep the crowd/game noise, but thats not happening.
