I cannot thank the posters here enough for all the tips. They came in handy.

Uber was a huge help. Great suggestion
Did Hoover Adam/Grand Canyon. Great time.
Bet a little on sports, broke even and considered that a win
Went to a show and it was pretty good, although I was fighting some heavy jet lag and nodded off a few times.
Checked out the Bellagio Fountains and severa hotels and casinos. Impressive to say the least.
As many suggested the food was plentiful, but also pricey overall.

For those going in the future:
Highly recommend Battistas Hole in the Wall for some great Italian food. Just off the strip, free wine, bread and cappuccino included in your meal and the food was fantastic. So good I went twice. Price was reasonable compared to most food in Vegas.

First trips to Vegas or if you havent been in awhile things you should do for sure in my opinion:
1. Spend 1 night visiting Freemont street and the old casinos.
2. Ride the high roller. Incredible views of the strip. If you drink they have ones that have bars in them that include unlimited drinks during the 50-55 minute ride.
3. Eat atleast at one famous restaurant by an award winning chef.Gordon Ramsey or someone else.
4. Go to the top of the stratosphere to see the view. Tip- just say you are going up for a drink and they want charge you to go up.
5. Visit and walk through, possibly gamble at some of the nicer casinos in Vegas. I suggest Caesars Palace, The Cromwell, The Aria, The Wynn, Paris Hotel and Casino, The Venetian, MGM, The Cosmopolitan.Tip- even though casinos appear close to each other they aren't. You can walk hours. Pay 6.00 for a 24 hour pass and ride the double deuce bus up and down the strip all the way to Freemont street hopping on and off wherever you like in front of multiple casinos and resorts.
6. View the Bellagio fountains at night.
7. Possibly ride the gondalas at the Venetian.
8. Gamble- no matter your budget you can afford to gamble. For example. In some of the cheaper casinos ( hooters casino and many others) in the afternoons and even some at night they have 2.00 blackjack and .25 cent chips you can use to play roulette. Obviously, if you have the budget you can gamble at any level. From 2.00 a hand playing blackjack to 50,000 a hand. You can play penny slots or slots at 10,000 a spin. Even if you don't play big just watching can be fun.
Be safe and have a great time. Yes, if you need to work with a budget in Vegas It's very possible and easy to do, but if you are going to pinch every penny in Vegas you aren't going to have as good of a time.
