1) The state of SC has to start producing more 5 star recruits.

2) We have to get them all. The available harvest of national quality players is too small to let any of them get away.

3) We must have a coach every kid wants to play for

4) We absolutely have to dial recruiting up several notches, and fork out the SEC money to do it, and quit being so miserly. It seems to me we don't go after enough 5 star players nationally.

5) Structure all coaches compensation with a bare bones guaranteed salary. Build in performance incentives to make up the vast majority of their compensation. Provide a recruiting budget in the top 1/3 of the best SEC teams. Tie a significant portion of every coaches compensation to team recruiting class rank each year. Provide specific bonuses for each win
over conference opponents, with the largest bonus for wins over Clemson. Pay extra bonuses for conference and national rank at the end of each season. Pay extra for upsets of nationally ranked teams. Chargeback compensation for getting upset, and blowout loses. Etc.

There is too much money being given to coaches with no consequences for losses.

Stuff like this.

The problem is our young talent is not there so it will take 3 or 4 yrs to build it. We also have to get tougher as a team. Remember when tennesse said they new they would wear us down Cuz we were soft? We are

Whatever Whammy touches, turns to crap.

Jr might be many things but Recruiting Coordinator ain't one of them.

Teams are going to get payback against us for a few years, maybe longer. 63-17, remember that? Let's hope we can keep it that close this year.
