I clicked on the op thinking it was about offensive systems. I remember watching I Love Lucy when Lucy was flying somewhere. The stewardess handed her a stick of gum. The stewardess told her it was for her ears. So she broke the stick down the middle, rolled up the pieces and stuck them in her ears.
Last night I heard a plane flying overheard outside my house. I was out taking the trashcan to the curb for garbage pickup about 9:30pm.
The plane was low and big. It was dark so I could not actually see what it looked like but it was obviously quite large. I could not figure out why it was near my house. I started doing some searches and discovered it was an Air Force transport type plane flying from Wichita, Kansas. It had flown just north of Columbia and by the time I found it online it was over Camden headed in a northeastern direction. I quit following it online after that. The online map said it left Kansas but it had no listed destination.
Just interesting the flights that you hear over your house and where they could be from.

I heard someone that mentioned running into Lucille Ball on a flight. She wasn't that friendly. I'll leave it at that.
Squirrels are smart little creatures, as everyone who owns a bird feeder will tell you. They like to play with each other and tease dogs. I've seen them mourn their fellow friends when they didn't miss a car. I remember once driving with my little brother when a squirrel basically ran right under my tires, nothing I could do about it. He was upset and started crying. About 10 seconds later he suggested we go back for its pelt.
